B2G Matchmaking Conference
As President Obama has said, "It is essential that we provide our nation's small businesses with maximum practicable opportunities to participate in federal government contracting." Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), over $90 billion in federal prime contracts were awarded to small businesses last year. However, opportunities continue to be available, and successful small businesses need to know about them, and how to compete for federal contracts.
The U.S. Small Business Administration and Business Development Assistance Group are organizing the B2G Matchmaking Conference on Wednesday, June 16, 2010.
This conference will provide opportunities for small businesses to:
- Meet with federal buyers and prime contractors to discuss federal and subcontracting opportunities;
- Network with other small businesses;
- Learn and determine how to win these contracts; and
- Meet this year's 2010 SBA District Office Small Business Awardees.
The conference will be held at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel, 999 Ninth St., NW,. on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 from 8am to 4pm. Open registration is expected to begin in early May on a first-come first-served basis.
Meet this year's 2010 SBA District Office Small Business Awardees.
